Eric Bommer, Partner, joined Sentinel in 1997. Over the past decade, he has
established himself as a successful lower middle market private equity investor.
Before joining Sentinel Capital Partners, Mr. Bommer spent two years as an
Associate at Gefinor Acquisition Partners, a private equity firm that specializes
in investing in underperforming lower middle market companies. From 1993 to 1995,
he was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division of CS First Boston.
From 1992 to 1993, Mr. Bommer was a financial analyst at LaSalle Partners where
he worked on the divestiture of the RTC's National Land Fund. From 1991 to 1992,
he was captain of the Livingston Kings, a Scottish professional hockey team that
he helped lead to the Scottish First Division Championship. Mr. Bommer holds a BA
from Brown University with a double major in Business Economics and Organizational
Behavior. He was also an assistant captain on Brown's Varsity Hockey Team.
Mr. Bommer currently serves as chairman of Sentinel portfolio company Engineered Controls
International and a director of Chromalox, LTI Flexible Products, Precision Pipeline Solutions,
Spinrite, Trinity Consultants, and Trussbilt. He also served as a director of
Alemite Holdings, Floral Plant Growers, Madill, Met Merchandising Concepts, NorSun Food Group,
Strategic Partners, and Tony Roma's prior to the sale of these businesses.
