John McCormack is a co-founder of Sentinel Capital Partners, which was established in 1995, and serves as a Senior Partner. He currently is Chairman of Southern California Pizza and a Director of Inscape Publishing, LTI Flexible Products, Mid-West Wholesale Hardware, Strategic Partners, and Trinity Consultants. He also served as Chairman of Falcon Holdings and NorSun Food Group, and a Director of Alemite Holdings, Border Foods, Cottman Transmission Systems, Floral Plant Growers, Growing Family, Madill, Met Merchandising Concepts, Nivel, and Tony Roma's prior to the sale of these businesses.

Previously, Mr. McCormack spent six years as an investment professional at First Century Partners, Smith Barney's private equity and venture capital affiliate, where he worked closely with David Lobel. He has been associated with several successful lower middle market private equity companies as an investor, including Railtex and Encore Paper.

Before joining First Century, Mr. McCormack spent seven years at Coopers & Lybrand where his principal assignments included conducting due diligence and acquisition reviews of target investment opportunities for private equity firms and strategic buyers. He is a CPA (New York) and holds a BS, cum laude, from Boston College.
