Ellen Paton joined Sentinel as an Operating Partner in 2026. She has worked closely with Sentinel since 2023, when she served as Corporate Controller at Sentinel portfolio company Empire Auto Parts. Before Empire, Ellen held senior finance leadership positions, including Corporate Controller of SPI and CFO of Penguin Frozen Foods. She began her career at EY and brings more than 15 years of combined experience in public accounting and providing fractional CFO and controller services across multiple organizations. Ellen is a CPA and holds a B.S. in accounting with high honors from the University of Illinois.
